This story was written by Frank Cottrell Boyce. I found it quirky and quite uneventful. A young boy named Prez is put in a foster situation because his grandfather is no longer able to care for him. When the doorbell rings, he answers it and sees a weird little person. Everyone else sees a dog. His name is Sputnik. He is an alien who has come to Earth to save it. Sputnik and the boy need to create a list of ten things to save the planet. But Prez needs to get back to his grandfather. Can he do both? And could the two tasks be connected? Sputnik was silly and sometimes violent. I found Prez and the family to be credible and likeable, but I guess I just didn't "get it." It was very anti-climatic. I was not a fan. (FIC BOY)
